Lea Valley Spring Gun HFT Open - 22 May 2005

.

This 30 target competition was held at Lea Valley on 22 May to raise funds for the Diabetes UK charity.

The number of shooters on the day was a little dissapointing, with just 28 competitors, however we were still able to raise a total of £508.00 for the charity.

We would like to thank all of those that turned up on the day and those that were kind enough to send a donation along in their absence.

The following attendees left very happy, having taken home one of the excellent prizes donated by our sponsors, Phoenix Air Guns, Brocock and Park Street Guns:
Mick Alexander Phoenix MkII Rifle .177
John Wilkins Brocock Independent Rifle .22
Gedas Girzadas Hawke Tactical Laser/Torch Kit

Mick Alexander receives his raffle prize, a Phoenix Rifle in .177 calibre from representatives of Phoenix Air Guns

The top score on the day was a 52 ex 60 by Jon Budd of the Cobham club. Some photographs of the event are available for viewing here.

We hope that all who attended enjoyed themselves and look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
